In 2012, at the quarter final stage of the tournament, i was sent home for an incident I would love to say wasn’t entirely my fault and point fingers at others, but my ability to accept responsibility for my actions and accept the consequences even when we were on a roll m, told me to take it. I could have chosen to speak out and make noise about it, but again, my ability to accept responsibility for my actions told me to take it and support the guys from the outside. To be honest with you, part of me was shattered and wanted the team to lose but the other part of me that accepted the part I played in the incident, told me to take it and support the guys because 90% of them had no idea what happened the previous night.

My point here is that, before we react to a situation, take the time to think about your role in the situation. It’s very hard, trust me but very important.

Today we even joke about the whereabouts of my MEDAL. It’s a bit embarrassing but because I accepted my role in the incident, I even add to the joke.

Some people have even forgotten how I dribbled defenders and scored cracking goals.

Some people still praise my talent.

That’s the nature of life.

The most important thing is how do you, yourself take yourself?!

I’m doing way much better than 90% of the guys that won medals in 2012. Does that make me happy and proud?? HELL NO. Because I was never in a competition with anyone. We still link up with the guys and have fun. It’s all about respect and love.

So remember, young boy and girl, the competition is all in your head. Work on yourself everyday and respect others.

I still think I was the most skillful player in the team but that will be argued because I don’t have a medal to show for it.

Elo nenzeko stubborn 😂😂😂😂.
