Preparation for the burial of the 9 people who died in the Chuungu accident that occurred on Tuesday around 21 hours.
This follows an accident that occurred on Tuesday evening in Chuungu area, where 8 people died and 1 died the following day while 12 others sustained serious injuries and are currently admitted to Monze Mission Hospital.
The accident happened when a traditional healer who was driving a Toyota Regius lost control of the vehicle due to overspeeding and hit into a group of people gathered waiting for him to provide various services.
The eyewitnesses told Byta FM news that the driver was driving under the influence of beer as beer bottles were discovered in the said vehicle.
