National Arts Council of Zambia Mourns the Loss of Wanga Zulu.

The National Arts Council of Zambia has described the late actress Wanga Zulu as a talented actress whose contributions to the arts will never be forgotten.
National Arts Council Director, Adrian Chipindi described says Wanga Zulu made significant contributions to Zambia’s film industry.
“The country has lost a great talent who contributed immensely to the growth and development of arts industry,” Mr. Chipindi said.
He added that her legacy would continue to inspire future generations of artists.
Mr. Chipindi extended his deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fans of the late actress.
Zambian actress Wanga Zulu, known for her iconic role as Mai Guru in the TV series Mpali, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, around 23:00 hours at the age of 51.
