get self-promotion, I really do.But does it really not get tiring when claims just do not align with the outcomes?
Or is it that the measure of outcomes themselves get a makeover so that pretty mundane existence is now clothed in excellence?
This government and its operatives have redefined the meaning of delivery or of quality or of excellence.
It isn’t delivery or excellence because the public can see and experience it.
It is delivery and excellence at their say so because only they are capable of even imagining what excellence in service delivery feels and looks like.
Even folks who used to be objective once have been consumed by this large amoeba that has now spread its tentacles across the civil society organisations and even the diplomatic community.
In Science we call this, systematic failure.The only way to cure a systematic failure, by the way, is to change the actors.
AND IT FALLS ON US, ONCE AGAIN.
