SYLVIA Mutaba has been found with a case to answer in a matter she is accused of causing the d£ath of her husband, George Kalaba, whose skeleton was found in his house in January year.
Judge Anne Malata-Ononuju has since placed Ms Mutata, 51, on her defence this morning.
In her defence, Ms Mutaba, should exonerate herself from the allegations by adducing evidence showing that her acts or omissions never caused her spouse’s d£ath.
The widow is charged with manslaughter after she failed to ensure that an ailing Mr Kalaba is taken to the hospital.
Her husband’s health deteriorated until he died from home and his skeleton was later found in the house, when police forced the door open, after being prevented entry by Ms Mutaba.
At trial, the judge heard that ‘God’ instructed the accused not to tell anyone about the death of her husband, whose skeleton was later found in the house two years after his demise.
Ms Mutaba denied k!lling him but that his body was found in the house because she was obeying “instructions”.
