The Chipolopolo Boys will today face the Palancas Negras of Angola in a FIFA international friendly match.

The fixture, scheduled to kick off at 17:00 local time at the November 11 Stadium, forms part of both teams’ preparations for the 2025 AFCON tournament.

Former Chipolopolo coach PATRICE BEAUMELLE has visited the team at their camp ahead of today’s friendly encounter.

BEAUMELLE, who is now head coach of the Angolan senior men’s national team, also took time to meet members of the 2012 AFCON-winning side who are currently serving on the Chipolopolo technical bench.

Among those he interacted with were Goalkeeper Coach KENNEDY MWEENE and physical trainer JOSEPH MUSONDA, both part of the squad that lifted the 2012 AFCON under HERVE RENARD.

During his visit, BEAUMELLE also singled out goalkeeper TOASTER NSABATA, whom he coached during his tenure as Zambia’s head coach in 2014 before his departure.

This is according to the FAZ Facebook page.
