Henry Shula Kasolo, aged 54, of Plot 400V, off Leopards Hill Road, Lusaka District was arrested and charged, with Corrupt Practices, contrary to Section 19(2) of the Anti-Corruption Act No. 3 of 2012, of the Laws of Zambia.
Particulars of the offence are that between 26th June, 2025 and 27th June, 2025, in Lusaka District, Mr. Kasolo, a businessman, did corruptly offer and give K60,000 gratification to three (3) public officers of the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC), as an inducement or reward to facilitate the release of two Thai nationals that had been apprehended by DEC officers and their seized compressed cannabis.
The ACC commends the 3 DEC officers for upholding integrity and reporting the matter to the ACC.
