On his latest tour, DCG Mr. Kuyomba inspected construction sites in Namwala under Chief Muchila, as well as in Kalomo, where ZCS engineers are constructing palaces for Chief Chikanta and Chief Siachitema.

During the visits, the Deputy Commissioner General engaged directly with engineers, site clerks, and officers, emphasizing the need for strict adherence to engineering standards, professionalism, and timely project delivery. He commended the teams for their hard work and urged them to maintain discipline, transparency, and excellence in carrying out the government’s mandate.

Mr. Kuyomba reaffirmed ZCS’s commitment to supporting national development through infrastructure projects, highlighting that the construction of chief’s palaces not only uplifts traditional leadership but also strengthens the partnership between the Zambia Correctional Service as an institution and cultural traditional institutions.

He stressed that ZCS will continue to deploy its engineering expertise to enhance public infrastructure, stating that every project must reflect the Service’s values of integrity, efficiency, and service to the nation.

The ongoing tours demonstrate ZCS’s proactive role in ensuring that high standards are upheld throughout all phases of construction, while reinforcing the importance of collaboration between the service and traditional authorities.
