Police have warned the public against mimicking a Lusaka businessman who was shót in the arm by róbbers a month ago in Mtendere East.

Police Spokesperson Godfrey Chilabi said the trend amounts to cybérbullying, which is a criminal offence.

Mr. Chilabi explained that such behaviour adds to the trauma already experienced by the victim and his family, while promoting a culture of insensitivity.

He told ZNBC News that Police will not allow individuals to take advantage of the victim’s ordeal.

Meanwhile, Mr. Chilabi said Police have intensified patrols in Mtendere East to curb criminal activities.
