Chama District in Eastern Province has recorded eight Christmas babies.
Chama District Hospital recorded three newborns, while Nthonkho, Manga, Chikwa, Chitheba, and Chibale health facilities each recorded one birth.
Confirming the development, Chama District Health Director Billiaty Phiri said that of the eight babies born, five are females and three are males.
