A Chipata-based peace advocate, Morgan Banda, has finally reached Lusaka.
In a telephone interview, Mr. Banda said his wish is to meet President Hakainde Hichilema at the State House.
Mr. Banda embarked on the journey from Chipata to Lusaka on 16th December, 2025, as part of an initiative to promote unity and peace ahead of the 2026 general elections.
He described the walk as a personal commitment to encouraging Zambians to uphold peace, tolerance, and national unity as the country approaches next year’s General elections.
