On behalf of the people of Eastern Province,Today i welcomed Mr. Morgan Katatala Banda at Mfuwe International Airport who has undertaken an incredible journey on foot from Chipata to Lusaka to meet with President Hakainde Hichilema. Mr. Banda’s dedication to promoting peace and unity in our nation is truly commendable, especially in the wake of the Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 7 becoming law.
We appreciate Mr. Banda’s efforts to engage with the President and discuss ways to foster greater harmony and stability in Zambia. His actions demonstrate the power of grassroots initiatives and the importance of citizen engagement in shaping our country’s future.
We look forward to Mr. Banda’s meeting with President Hichilema and are confident that their discussion will contribute to the ongoing national dialogue on peace, unity, and development.
