A Story of Resilience…..

On the bustling streets of Lusaka, determination is taking an uncommon path.

At 33 years old, a University of Zambia graduate is demonstrating that dignity is found not in job titles, but in the commitment to provide.

TIMOTHY BANDA, a Bachelor of Education graduate specialising in Sociology of Education with Civic Education, is currently working as a bus conductor on the Mtendere -UTH route.

His choice is not one of defeat, but of responsibility.

After graduating in 2019, Mr. BANDA made a deliberate decision to earn an honest living while awaiting formal employment, choosing productivity over idleness.

Motivated by family duty, he supports his elderly grandmother and cares for two children left behind by his late brother.

Despite the challenges he faces, Mr. BANDA remains hopeful and resilient, ready to serve whenever an opportunity presents itself.

He believes that every honest effort brings him one step closer to a better future.
