The move comes after Mohamed Amoura was seen mimicking Lumumba following Algeria’s late winning goal. Lumumba had stood motionless throughout the match in tribute to Patrice Lumumba before breaking down in tears after the defeat. The gesture drew mixed reactions, prompting a response aimed at promoting respect and sportsmanship.
