Government Assures Lundazi Residents of Progress in Water Supply Restoration.By White Luhanga Minister of Water Development and Sanitation Collins Nzovu says Government is making steady progress in restoring water supply to Lundazi District following recent flash floods.
Mr. Nzovu said the Eastern Water Sanitation Company (EWSC) Water Treatment Plant was shut down after it was submerged by floods on 30th December 2025.

The Minister added that the Ministry, EWSC, and other stakeholders are working round the clock to reinstate the water treatment plant as a long-term solution.
