1. He was the only minister who refused to collect the housing allowance. Ministers who don’t stay in government houses are entitled to housing allowance but Kalaba didn’t find it OK to be getting government money when he has his own house which is near Linda Compound. This alone makes him stand out.
2. The sitting allowances in parliament were going straight to his constituency which was Bahati.
3. The ministry of finance gives interest free loans to all ministers. But guess what? Kalaba never got those interest free loans but instead, he got his loans from INDO Zambia Bank where he could pay interest.
This man is the only politician who is so easy to sale because money does not move him. What moves him is serving the less privileged which is the major thing him and I have in common. He has no scandals and corruption cases or accusations against him. He has a clean record. Maybe that’s why some people think he has pride and you call him selfish. No he is not selfish. He is just different.
Kalaba is a politician I will be so excited to write about if Given Lubinda doesn’t unite the PF party.
We will just convince Makebi Zulu to work with Kalaba. That’s all. Then I will bring with me all my PF friends to join CF. It’s 3 months remaining before campaigns start. Zambians are looking for someone to vote for but iwe Lubinda you keep wasting their time.
