The unknown driver of the VOLVO TRUCK registered number KR 68DM,GP driving from the Northern direction (KAPIRI MPOSHI DISTRICT ) lost control of the vehicle as he was about to cross the Mulungushi stream bridge.
This accident happened today 10 November 2023 around 15:00 hours opposite the Mulungushi University.
The Kafue Times Reporter rushed to the scene found police officers and a lot of students from the Mulungushi University gathering around the truck which over turn.
The eye witnesses told KT reporter that the truck driver had his body injured and was immediately taken to the hospital.
The motor vehicle coursed serious damages to the bridge.The vehicle had its front bumper,front class,side mirrors and the trailer damaged.
Efforts to get a comment from the Zambia Police Traffic Officer in charge proved futile by press time.
