Residents of Lusaka’s Mtendere East township woke up to a rude shock after finding 19 buckets of human excretion in a house belonging to a 50-year-old man.
The residents discovered the buckets with fecal matter and an undisclosed amount of urine bottles after breaking into the house.
They told ZNBC News that they were forced to break into the house after experiencing a bad stench emanating from it.
What was more shocking for the residents is that the owner of the house, only identified as Katongo, failed to dispose of the fecal matter despite having a toilet outside his house.
The neighbors also found piles of uncollected garbage in the house.
