JAILED former Minister of Defence Geoffrey Mwamba, alias GBM, has pleaded with the court to release him on bail to enable him to travel abroad for treatment because his prostate cancer is advancing.
Through his lawyers, Mwamba, who is serving a five year jail term for corruption related crimes, submits that he needs treatment for his terminal illnesses.
“…the doctors attending to me at Maina Soko Military Hospital, as I await my evacuation, have warned after tests that there are indications that my prostate cancer could be advancing,” Mwamba submits.
