A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy of Ndola risks losing his right eye after being stabbèd multiple times with a knife by his eight-year-old neighbour while playing.

The victim, identified as Kelvin Mulonda, of Ndola’s Masala Township, also sustained deep cuts under his right eye.

His eight-year-old friend claimed he stabbed his friend after watching a video on a social media platform, Tik-Tok, where a similar prank was being done and decided to try on the victim.

Mulonda was admitted to Arthur Davison Children’s Hospital (ADCH) on June 30 this year before he was taken into theatre at the same hospital.

Arthur Davison Children’s Hospital public relations officer Shona Chalimbana confirmed receiving the victim at the hospital for treatment.

“We received the child who was stabbed in his eye. He went into theatre, where surgery was conducted. The wounds were bad, but we managed to treat him,” she said.
