We are closely monitoring the work of the government and the cries of the citizens.

The continued revising or hiking of fuel prices is becoming unbearable because the cost of living is already too high for the ordinary Zambian. It is a well known fact that when fuel prices go up, the prices of commodities increase and the cost of doing business also becomes high. With the high unemployment rate in the country, especially among the youths whose votes ushered this government into office, survival is not easy.

The UPND government must fulfil its campaign promise of improving the cost of living, including the promise of recruiting teachers and health workers. It is too soon to forget that the power of the people is stronger than the people in power. The clock is ticking.
