FAZ Southern Committee Member, Davious Haluchiso, has issued a stern warning to teams and supporters in the Southern Province League. In his statement, he highlighted several key issues:
– *Late Result Submissions*: Teams are urged to send match results on time to facilitate timely updates of league standings.
– *Hooliganism*: A serious warning has been issued to supporters and officials engaging in unacceptable behavior towards match officials and visiting teams. Such actions will not be tolerated, and perpetrators are advised to refrain from such conduct.
– *Red-Carded Players*: To prevent unfair play, the league will publicize details of players who have been red-carded, including their names, ID card numbers, jersey numbers, and the number of games they are suspended for.
– *Yellow and Red Card Accumulation*: Teams will be notified of accumulated yellow and red cards, which attract fines at the end of the season. Proper player behavior on the field can help avoid these fines.
– *Forgery, Ineligibility, and Impersònation*: The league is cracking down on cases of forgery, player ineligibility, and impersònation, warning that offenders will be caught and penalized.
– To all the Division three and four teams your games will kick start on 5th and 6th as scheduled there will be no postpondment of the fixtures, only registered players and officials will be allowed to participate, for those of you who have not yet registered players/officials kindly do so before the registration window ( province ) closes coz once closed it will only be opened in January.
Let’s ensure that we do the needful on time.Haluchiso emphasized the importance of fair play, sportsmanship, and unity in football, encouraging teams and supporters to promote peace and protect each other. He assured that his office is actively monitoring the situation and will take necessary actions to maintain the integrity of the game.Let’s work together to manage the game. Your ideas and advice are welcome.
