A few months ago, I walked for 28 days from Congo to Zimbabwe, doing nothing but championing a cause I believed in with all my heart: African financial liberation.
It was a journey unlike any other. Many times along the way, my body felt like it was failing. My feet burned, my muscles ached, and there were moments when every step felt impossible. Yet, something greater than pain kept me moving, the conviction that Africa holds the key to its own liberation.
On that road, I wasn’t just walking for myself. I was walking for every African who dreams of a continent free from dependency, a continent that builds, funds, and sustains its own future. And in the end, I didn’t just finish the walk, I completed it one day earlier than planned.
It was an incredible journey of self-sacrifice and passion. But that is what it means to kick-start a movement: you must have the ambition, the courage, and the willpower to do what most people would never dare attempt.
The walk may have ended, but the movement for Africa’s financial freedom continues. Step by step, voice by voice, action by action, we will get there.
I AM AN AFRICAN THINKER, ARE YOU?
