Yesterday, my wife Grace and I had the immense joy of giving our daughter Mwiche’s hand out in marriage to her now husband, Kwesi Nana Abrampah. Watching you two begin your journey fills my heart with faith and pride.
As the Priest wisely said, Marriage is a “Dish of Faith,” and the ingredients you choose will define your future in marriage.
As your father, i take his words as mine, I pray you always use these essentials in your beautiful recipe for marriage;
1. The Flower of Commitment: Remember, God brought you together. Choose each other, “come hell or high water.”
2. The Oil of Communication: Be the glue that keeps your love dancing. Never assume; always talk.
3. The Baking Powder of Forgiveness: Be quick to forgive and give each other a second chance. Remember, no one is perfect. This is the anchor that prevents collapse under stress.
4. The Seasoning of Humor: Laugh at life, laugh at yourselves, and let joy chase away all temptation.
Keep Love and Forgiveness in your pockets at all times.
To my beloved Mwiche, as you start your new life know that, I have held your hand for a lifetime. Today, I place it in his, knowing that while he may be your anchor, you will always be the best part of my history, and now, your own wonderful future.
May the name of Jesus be called upon your union, and may your lives together be blessed in abundance!
We love you both immensely and wish you God’s love, blessings, and guidance as you embark on this beautiful journey.
Congratulations, Mwiche & Kwesi!
