The Africa Union Holdings Group of Companies through My Home Town Zambia commissioned street lights in Choma, Friday evening, along the Shampande – Choma Secondary road and part of Great North Road.
Byta FMs Kelvin Muzelenga reports that the event was graced by Southern Province Minister, Cornelius Mweetwa, who was accompanied by Choma District Commissioner, among other officials.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Africa Union Holdings Group of Companies Chairman, James Ndambo (in picture) disclosed that his wish is to make Choma a role model town as long as he has support from the community.
And Southern Province Minister, Cornelius Mweetwa, applauded My Home Town Zambia Organization for its continued support to Choma town.
Mweetwa noted that the newly commissioned lights will enhance security in Choma in addition to improving its appearance.
