Over eight hundred thousand (800,000) farmers under the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP) have successfully redeemed their farming inputs as of 1st December, 2025.
Ministry of Agriculture Principal Public Relations Officer Balewa Zyuulu says this represents 78% of the one million, twenty-four thousand, four hundred thirty-four (1,024,434) targeted beneficiaries.
Mr. Zyuulu added that the Government has encouraged all remaining farmers who have not yet redeemed their inputs to do so without delay.
He further stated that the Government has urged all agro-dealers across the country to maintain adequate stocks of farming inputs in response to the increasing rate of farmer redemptions.
Mr. Zyuulu said the Ministry will continue to monitor supply levels to ensure consistent nationwide availability of inputs.
