FORMER Zambia Air Force commander Ronnie Shikapwasha murder-accused widow, Jane Lusengo, fell unwell during court proceedings this morning.
As her murder trial was underway, Ms Lusengo, 74, who recently suffered a partial stroke, started persistently coughing, shortly before the case was adjourned.
The hearing was scheduled to conclude at 12:00 for today’s session.
But shortly before 12:00, the septuagenarian was heard coughing and also vomited from the dock, as court official and a warden were seen quickly rushing to her aid.
A conspicuously concerned Judge Conceptor Zulu then adjourned the case.
Ms Lusengo is accused of killing her husband, Lieutenant General Ronnie Shikapwasha using a double barrel in January 2024.
