Over fifty residents in Lusaka’s State Lodge area will have to brave the cold of the night after their houses were reduced to rubble following a court order.

The affected families have told Diamond News that their houses were demolished in the early hours of today, July 23, 2022.

Aliness Lungu and Sharon Zulu have since called on the office of the President to address their plight as they have no alternative places to relocate to.

Others are ready to sacrifice their lives to keep the land in question.
