WHY SAMPA THE GREAT’s INTERVIEW ON MY SHOW COULDN’T AIR
So Sampa’s management contacted me to be one of the few people to interview her. Then 7 days ago, I posted a clip from the interview I did with her and her young sister, Mwanje.
Some blogs picked it up and because of what she said during the interview, a lot of negative things were said about her in the comments sections .
Because of that, the management called me to ask that the episode doesn’t run, and made more requests I didn’t agree with that I won’t share here (out of respect).
After days of going back and forth with her management on this issue, for the sake of not burning bridges, we just didn’t air it, but I must say, she had a lot to say. Things her management probably wouldn’t be happy with, but that could be them doing their job. Otherwise, Sampa & her sister are a vibe!
After consulting Diamond TV management, we might just consider airing the episode later some day… we’ll see 
But for now, I just want to apologize to those who were expecting the episode yesterday.
