EDUCATION IS THE BEST GIFT FOR CHILDREN – KAFUE MP

KAFUE Member of Parliament Miriam Chonya says education is the best gift that can be given to Children.

Speaking when KlaptonRe Insurance Limited donated education materials worth K40,00 to Jedidiah Learning Steps, Chonya said education is an equalizer that enables even a child if a farmer to become a president of a great nation.

She commended KlaptonRe for supporting a noble cause.

And Education Minister Douglas Syakalima who officiated at the handover ceremony, thanked Jedidiah Learning Steps Founder Sifelani Mwanza for her initiative to come up with the learning centre adding that without her Organization, the 380 Pupils would be out of school.

Syakalima thanked the teachers at Jedidiah Learning Steps for their commitment and sacrifice to imparting knowledge in the Pupils under difficulty circumstances.

Meanwhile KlaptonRe Insurance Limited Chief Executive Officer Webster Twaambo Jr said their gesture to Jedidiah resonates with the New Dawn Government ‘s policy of providing free education.
