Matthews J Phiri is our inspiration today!
Despite his age, Mr Phiri enrolled into a grade 7 class in 2018 to complete his education because to him, being educated is a big deal!
He attended evening classes through to grade 9 until he qualified to grade 10.
He is currently in grade 11 but attests that it has not been a smooth ride.
However, he is here today “through God’s grace, hard work, high self esteem and determination.
I can proudly say so far so good, still going strong.”
He encourages anyone thinking about returning to school to never mind what people say about them.
“Just stay focused, keep your lane and fight your way through,” Mr Phiri shares.
