The Fire Brigade team in conjunction with Zambia State Police Traffic and RTSA yesterday rescued 35 people from Road Traffic Accidents.
The accident which happened yesterday around 15: 09hrs along Mbala road at Mulambe Village near Kateshi tollgate involving a toyota canter, white in color with registration number AIB 4865 zm was driven by Bernad Bwalya Kapele aged 36 years who lost control and overturned after a front Ball-joint dislocation.
On board were about 35 CHIPANDO HEALTH STARS FOOTBALL TEAM players and support staff who where coming from Nseluka and heading for Nkole Mfumu for football match.
All passengers suffered multiple body injuries and were rushed to Kasama General Hospital.
One adult male was trapped and suffered a broken arm and was extricated by Fire Brigade Personnel using a hydraulic cutter/expander and a knife. No fatality were recorded at the scene.
