This morning in company of area councilor Eric DM Musabila and the ward development committee chairperson Agness Kasonde , I expressed sadness to the increase in theft of street light poles in Kabwe’s chowa township.
As local authority we are trying to put measures into lighting up Kabwe town by procuring new street lights but unknown people are bringing development backwards.
Let me also take this opportunity to send a stain warning to all those involved in the act to stop or risk being apprehended.
I therefore urged the police to intensify patrols especially at night and I have also encouraged the local people to report anyone found stealing the poles.
