…as a sister shared an inspiring story of the brother…..

My younger brother, a boy from Shampande, Choma, that went to school with torn uniforms was picked by First Quantum Mines and sponsored to the prestigious Trident College.

Each year, two mines scout for 12 children to sponsor to Trident College. In the first phase of selection, he was in the top 450. In reducing the number to the selected 12, he came out 2nd the whole Zambia, the only child that qualified from St Canisius Secondary School.

Yesterday, Abel graduated from his first College education, A levels with 4 awards, 3 of which were Academic achievement awards and 1 for the Duke of Edinburgh for his adventurousness. One of the academic awards was a prestigious headmaster’s award where he was awarded for braving for an early Cambridge Math exam which he wrote alone in June as opposed to November with the rest of his classmates and got an A* (A+).

Amongst my siblings, Abel has had the most challenging childhood yet produced the most excellent results in so many areas, he beat all my academic records????. Am ever inspired by this very matured handsome young man❤️. I didn’t have permission to share these stories but since he doesn’t share to inspire, I might as well do???? Ab your secrets are now heavy, am releasing little by little.

There is no traffic at the top???? Congratulations my child.
