Isoka District hospital in Muchinga Provinve has been plunged into total darkness after thieves uprooted and stole 7 meters of Zesco power cables that supplied power to the only District Hospital.
District Medical Director Dr Musonda Chiluba has regretted the incident and is worried about those in ICU needing oxygen, especially children.
