Lusaka ~ Fri, 10 June 2022By Brightwell ChabushaThe Chipata High Court has fined a 27-year-old tractor driver K5,000 for causing the death of a 9- year-old boy.
Dickson Banda, who at the time the incident happened did not have a driving license caused the death of the boy by dangerous driving on 4th this month.
This happened while he drove a tractor on Magazine Road in Chipata City.
The boy jumped on a moving tractor, later slipped and got crashed by the tractor. Banda was only alerted by the people about the incident.
He was to be pay the fine yesterday or serve in default nine months’ simple imprisonment.
