Chikankata Member of Parliament, Jacqueline Sabao has disclosed that the tendering process for the Construction of Kasamu- Chikankata Mission road to bituminous standards has commenced.
Speaking in Malala Sunday afternoon, Sabao noted that the bad state of the road is a matter of concern to government, hence its commitment to improve it to bituminous standard.
According to Byta FM, She lamented that the Chikankata Mission road has affected economic activities, with people taking over two hours to cover a stretch of 40 kilometers.
