Two unknown people have died on the spot after a fatal road traffic accident which occurred last night around 23 hours in Chipata.
An eye witness Goodson Kunda has told Breeze FM news that the accident involving a motorbike rider who was carrying one passenger happened near ShopRite, along the Umodzi High way road.
Mr. Kunda explained that due to excessive speed, the motorbike overturned after hitting the road lane barriers along the road.
He said the two unknown people died on the spot while the motorbike is extensively damaged.
By broadcast time, Eastern Province Police Acting Commanding Officer Davies Simwanza did not have further details.
