The Resident Doctors Association of Zambia (RDAZ) has impeached its president Dr Brian Sampa and his executive during an extraordinary meeting held in Kitwe today.
An interim executive has since been put in place until the association’s AGM next year.
“The membership passed a motion to impeach the current RDAZ president Dr. Brian Chota Sampa and his executive. The motion passed and the members have since voted in an interim executive to run RDAZ until next year’s AGM,” stated RDAZ Secretary General Dr Kaumba Roy Tolopu in statement.
“A memo will be issued to congratulate the new RDAZ executive once the vote counting is done.”
