The Chinese government will be the official guest of honour at this year’s 94th Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show, which is expected to attract 110 exhibitors from that country.
Agricultural and Commercial Cooperative Society of Zambia (ACSZ) president Dancan Mfula said this is the first time a single foreign country has had such a high number of exhibitors at the show.
“A memorandum of understanding (MoU) is expected to be signed, during the show, which will involve ACSZ, Chinese chamber, Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry among others,” Mr Mfula said.
He said concurrent business luncheons will be held between Thursday and Monday next week to encourage an increase in multi-stakeholder dialogue, linkages on value chain development and broad-based economic development .
