MEET KAREN MUMBA who is a High School graduate from Hillcrest Technical High School who enrolled to study accountancy at the Copperbelt University and graduated with a distinction.
Upon completing her tertiary education she qualified as a professional accountant under ACCA and obtained full ACCA membership.
Choosing not to settle she further went on to challenge herself by applying for one of the most competitive scholarships in the UK and was awarded the Rhodes scholarship. She holds two Masters degrees from the prestigious Oxford University MBA and Masters in Public Policy. This is a very competitive program which only selects two candidates annually from Zambia and 84 students globally.
She recently announced through her LinkedIn that she would be joining the World Bank Group spanning her career from entry level to senior level at Deloitte to Corporate Finance Manager at Standard Bank, South Africa.
Karen’s story is not only Inspiring but is a clear example of the potential that the girl child has.
