(ZNBC) The Country has recorded 16 new Cholera cases in the last 24 hours.
Minister of Health Sylvia Masebo says 8 of the new Cholera cases were recorded in Vubwi district in Eastern Province, 4 in Chipata district and 4 in Mwansabombwe district in Luapula Province.
Ms Masebo says 9 people in Vubwi district and 2 from Mwansabombwe have been discharged, leaving 19 in admission.
She added that those in admission, who include; 2 in Mwansabombwe, 5 in Vubwi and 12 in Chipata are all in a stable condition.
The Minister added that NO death has been recorded in the last 24 hours apart from the two announced yesterday.
Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka, Ms. Masebo has also announced that the Ministry of Health has so far managed to administer over 23,000 doses of oral Cholera vaccine in Vubwi district.
