STRANDED TRADER ASSISTED WITH K3,000 AFTER THEFT INCIDENT AT KULIMA TOWERA woman identified as Fridah, a small-scale trader, receives financial assistance after losing her grocery bag and cash upon arriving at Kulima Tower in Lusaka.

According to accounts from individuals at the station, Fridah reported that her bag containing essential items and business funds had been stolen shortly after she reached the terminal. The Kulima Tower support team provided her with basic necessities and helped her contact her family while the situation was being assessed.

A Lusaka resident, Mr. Edgar Silwimba, later offered K3,000 to help her recover part of her losses and return home. He explained that his decision stemmed from having faced a similar situation in the past.

Kulima Tower, previously associated with security concerns, has recently seen increased community efforts aimed at improving safety and providing assistance to travellers. Volunteers say their focus is on responding to incidents promptly and offering support where needed.

The assistance enabled Fridah to continue with her business plans and make arrangements to return home after the theft.
