ZAMBIA will for the first time in history have four Athletes to compete at the Budapest World Athletics Championships in August.
The Athletes include Patrick Nyambe, Samukonga Muzala, and Niddy Mingilishi in 400M while Rhonda Njobvu in 200M.
This is our Country’s biggest number of athletes to have ever qualified for the World Championships.
We wish to mention that there is no Wild Card in this configuration.
The three Athletes who are Patrick Nyambe, Niddy Mingilishi, and Rhonda Njobvu have qualified in their respective races through World Athletics Rankings.
We wish to pledge our support for the four of our Athletes as they compete at the Budapest World Athletics Championships slated for this month.
We further wish our athletes the very best as they prepare for this competition.
