Chipolopolo captain and AC Horsens midfielder, Lubambo Musonda has left his club for Silkeborg IF, on a 1 year loan deal.

The striker who has thanked his club has reminisced on the wonderful time he had at the club, and appreciated, the players,staff, coaches and the amazing fans for supporting him in his career during his stay at Horsens.

“It has been an amazing time I have spent with the club knowing you all had my back and supported me in all my good and bad times.
I want to wish you all the best of luck as you continue building the team” Lubambo said in a statement

Lubambo said he is now looking forward to the new challenge and hoping to achieve great things with the team.

“After an amazing period full of wonderful memories at AC Horsens it’s now time for me to take up the next challenge in my career.
I would like to thank you and I’m so grateful to the incredible players and staff members I have worked with, as they have helped and contributed in shaping me into the person and player I am today” he further said.

He has acknowledged that it was a tough decision to leave a club he loved since the day he walked in, but believes it’s the right decision for his footballing development.
