A Ukrainian TV host and Director of the EuroAsia Democracy Initiative PETER ZALMAYEV has urged Zambia and other African countries to play a bigger role in the Russia Ukraine conflict.
Mr. ZALMAYEV says Zambia is in a unique position to speak both to the Russians and Ukrainians as it is in good terms with both countries.
Speaking in an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka today, Mr. ZALMAYEV said the International community should be able to stop the aggression so that a bad precedence is not set in other countries if Ukraine falls in the war.
Mr. ZALMAYEV is touring 40 countries in 400 days and Zambia is the 8th country that he has visited in Africa.
