A road traffic accident has occurred in Kafue Town near Kafis area, involving two trucks a Hino truck coming from Lusaka and a Volvo truck coming from the southern direction.
According to a survivor from the Hino truck, the vehicle reportedly lost its brakes, but the driver managed to steer into the correct lane before the Volvo truck collided with it.
Both drivers sustained injuries and were rushed to Kafue General Hospital for medical attention.
Police have since launched investigations to establish the cause of the accident.
