As leaders of ZAM, we would have loved to be there, but there is just so much going on. We do try our very best to be there for every musician in need, including those we have never met.
If I could, I would attend every funeral all by myself or with others. I have seen the comments from those who would have loved to see me at the burial today, but let he who knows my heart judge me for my inability to attend to everything all at once.
Last week, we had to bury two musicians, but I could only attend one funeral service — and I still wish I had managed to help bury the second one too.
Meanwhile, my office has just been notified that Slim Cheyz from HD Empire has lost a sister.
