Luampa Stands Still for God:

For the first time in history, Luampa Constituency came to a complete standstill on New Year’s Eve. No music blared from bars. No late-night revelry filled the streets.

The historic night was made possible by the people of Luampa, who voluntarily closed every bar to dedicate the night to God.

The initiative followed an invitation by Honourable Makozo Chikote, Member of Parliament and Minister of Energy, who also toured the constituency and witnessed the remarkable sight of a community fully devoted to worship.

The hearts and voices rose in worship as Kings Malembe led a powerful crossover service into January 1, 2026.

The atmosphere was electric with faith. People sang along to Malembe’s soul-stirring songs, including his latest hit “Luse” lifting their hands, closing their eyes, and sensing God’s presence move among them.

Streets that usually echoed with celebration were quiet, yet filled with a powerful sense of unity, joy, and reverence to God.

Kings Malembe thanked the congregation for their warm welcome and praised their hunger for God, the Minister appreciated the residents’ faith and unity.

The night was not just a service, it was a spiritual movement, as Luampa crossed over into the new year lifting the name of Jesus Christ.

As midnight struck, the constituency didn’t just welcome 2026, they embraced it on their knees, united in prayer and praise.

It was more than a crossover, it was Luampa standing still for God, led by faith, worship, and the ministry of Kings Malembe.
