A medical student has dièd after being shòt by a truck driver in Lusaka’s Makeni ZNS area.
CHRISTOPHER MATUBULANI, aged 21, was shòt in the early hours of today while attempting to jump over a fence to reach his boarding house.
Police Spokesperson GODFREY CHILABI has confirmed the incident and identified the suspect as DAVID TEMBO, who surrendered himself to authorities following the shòoting.
Mr. CHILABI explained that as MATUBULANI climbed the fence, TEMBO, who was in his vehicle at a designated truck park, shot him in the thigh.
MATUBULANI was rushed to Makeni Clinic, where he later dièd.
